About Us

St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church is the oldest and largest Catholic Church in Utah County.  We are a bilingual parish that is striving to become one community: Somos el Cuerpo del Cristo!  We are the Body of Christ!

Founded in 1892, with the original location in Provo, UT, we moved to Orem in 2000. Our new facility at that time included adminstrative offices, religious education classrooms, a gymnasium a social hall and a kitchen. For 11 years we have been worshipping in the gymnasium. But we are now about to move from the gym into a real  church.  The new church will seat more than 1000 worshippers.  Dedication will take place on Sunday February 19, 2012.
